By practicing gratitude for the gift of life and our blessings, we discover beauty in being women of God.

While practicing gratitude for God’s blessings, we can also be grateful for who God created us to be. There is beauty in being women of God. I know it is hard because sometimes, being a woman is hard. We have many responsibilities as wives, mothers, co-workers, team players, friends, neighbors, and women of God. But when we love ourselves as God loves us, it is so easy to love others and to have the focus and strength we need to be present, hopeful, and victorious in our Christian walk.

God made us –
How beautiful is this that God made us in His image?
“So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” Genesis 1:27 NKJV
We are His –
“Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture”. Psalm 100:3 NKJV
His chosen. Chosen by God from the beginning for this moment, this time, for our salvation through believing in Jesus.
“But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth.” 2 Thessalonians 2:13 NKJV
His Beloved –
Yes, His dear sweet beloved.
“To all who are in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ”. Romans 1:7 NKJV
His Daughters –
Daughters, He knows our suffering and afflictions, but He also knows our faith, and He is a Father to us.

“And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.” Mark 5:34 NKJV
“I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.” 2 Cor 6:18 NKJV
His Blessing-
Because we are God’s blessing for others, we proceed as beautiful daughters with crowning qualities:
Our beauty is our faith and virtue. (Proverbs 31:10-30)
Our Hospitality. (2 Kings 4:10)
Our Devotional spirit. (Genesis 25:22)
Our Modesty. (1 Tim 2:9)
Our Generosity and kindness to the poor. (Prov 31:20)
Our Serving. (1 Timothy 5:10)
Our wisdom and virtue (Prov 31:10)
He loves us –
We are inscribed on the palms of His hands. (Isaiah 49:16)
God holds our tears because He knows our sufferings. (Psalm 56:8)
God protects and shields, holding us with his right hand. (Psalm 17:7)
God’s daughters –
As God’s daughters, we can excel in our homes full of love, hospitality, kindness, charity, comfort, and serving others.
We can be women of patience like Ruth, mothers like Hannah, capable like Abigal, hospitable like the Shunamite, self-sacrificing like Esther, women of faith like the Canaanite, transformed like Mary Magdalen, humble like Elizabeth, and Mary, a woman chosen by God. Women were the last at the cross, the first to the tomb, and the first to proclaim the resurrection—women who washed Jesus’ feet with tears and anointed Him with oil. We are the caretakers, comforters, servers, and helpers, given so much love and kindness to overspill.
When we are grateful for who we are as daughters of God when we have a strong defense against the enemy, world perception, or ourselves. Comparison, jealousy, and coveting will not crack our armor.
When we remember and reflect on who we are – God’s chosen and beloved – we give thanks for who we are and live holy lives.

We appreciate who God made us to be. Because we are His new creations, and He makes us new each day. When we submit our lives to God, His beauty is shown through us.
Then we can be content where He has us in all areas. Grateful. Then we can receive His love. And be His love.
Growing as virtuous, lovely daughters rooting and abiding in our Vine. Holy in the holy. Our beauty adorning our being.
Yes, the Creator of the universe specifically made each of us, forming us in the womb. What a beautiful proclamation of love we have in Psalm 139:13-16:
“For You formed my inward parts;
You covered me in my mother’s womb.
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.
My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.
And in Your book they all were written,
The days fashioned for me,
When as yet there were none of them”.
Psalm 139:13-16 NKJV
