What do we do when we are feeling forgotten or left out on the sidelines while everyone else, it seems, is out on the dance floor?
Many of us battle with discouragement at times –
My world shifted as I read Psalm 23:5: “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over,” I thought, a table is prepared for me, and not just any table but God’s table.
When we feel left out, forgotten, or on the sidelines, we only need to remember that God already has a place for us at His celestial table. He has not forgotten us and never will. We are His. We rest in His joy by turning our hearts and eyes to God’s presence instead of our circumstances.
