This is Day 4: – write a color poem “Blue Skies, Eyes, and More” as part of April’s 30 days of poetry challenge with Host The Second Cup.

Blue Skies, Eyes, and More
I can count on a sky that is brilliant blue,
or mom’s gray blue eyes,
my baby blue blouse,
or a blue jay, and certainly a bluebird,
or a midnight blue sky is beautiful with stars,
and an ocean of deep dark blue with mysteries beneath butting up to an island of blue green lagoons,
and a royal blue sapphire ring for my birthday September,
oh, but a blue mood not so much,
and navy is a color I surely like to wear.
I can count on a sky that is brilliant blue,
Tweet
or mom’s gray blue eyes,
my baby blue blouse,
or a blue jay, and certainly a bluebird,
or a midnight blue sky is beautiful with stars… #poetry #Aprilpoetrychallenge #Blue

Deborah, what a fun poem. You shared so many different shades of blue in our world! Made me smile.
Thank you. I have been writing them every day for the challenge but need to post them.
