28 Days of Prayer-Poems for Faith, Spiritual Growth & Life
Today is my twenty-seventh post for the #write28days challenge, which I will write throughout this February. Each post is from an assigned keyword, and today’s word is “taboo” Enjoy my new prayer poem, “Breaking Free of Faith Taboo.”

Jesus said to go into all the world and share the good news. Breaking free of faith taboos so you can plant seeds for the Kingdom.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Forgive us for when we shy away from embracing our faith. Please give strength to testify Your goodness and faithfulness. And to go into all the world sharing the gospel.
Oh, lift our self-imposed limits removing our faith taboo. Now taboo-free and embracing our faith, we no longer feel forbidden to bestow the truth. Hence, resisting any faith taboo that hinders the great commission.
Please help us have honest conversations and stories of faith without fear of persecution.
Help us release any fears that keep us in hiding and stop wandering minds of doubt. Let us be taboo-free, therefore embracing our faith through sharing, witnessing, and testimony.
Thank you for the call to plant Your Kingdom seeds. So, please send us forth into the world sharing our stories of faith.
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Mark 16:15 KJV
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Philippians 4:13 KJV
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Isaiah 40:31 KJV

For me, faith taboos look like people replacing relationship with rituals ;). But I love your take on a faith taboo. I’m fortunate to work at a private Christian school where I can talk about and live out my faith all the time!
Yes that is true too. I have a friend who is always tempted to so that and I remind her it is Christ alone. Yea you are fornuate to work at a private Christian school. I work in the film industry where I do my best to live out my faith through character, conduct, and conversation.
