Does our image conflict with who we are as people of God, remade to reflect Him?
By surrendering my image to Christ, my life shifted from a rollercoaster of never matching up, full of anxiety and striving, to focusing on Jesus and embracing His peace and joy.

Blessing In The Presence Of Danger – Kingdom Edge Magazine
What do we do when we are feeling forgotten or left out on the sidelines while everyone else, it seems, is out on the dance floor?
There was a time in my life where many of my writer friends were getting book deals and doing book release launches. Throughout that time, I signed up to be on their launching teams and cheerleaded them along. As seasons folded into each other, hopes of new beginnings ascended.
Although my days were full of writing, home projects, family, and friends, and so much love and goodness, discouragement did its little dance and began creeping in.
I was happy for my friends’ successes but wondering when it would be my turn. Have you been there, too?

Can we lay aside our good works for God’s good works?
Recently I found myself moody and snappy as sleepless, restless nights took their toll. At the same time, excruciating pain shot through my shoulder from a recent long workday. In addition,
I questioned my motive for accepting an invitation to an upcoming women’s Bible study. My schedule was jam-packed, including studies I had already signed up for.
Later that day, I found myself anxious as I logged onto the computer to connect with a friend.
But soon our Zoom call became a sanctuary where I confessed to feeling unclean and not good enough. My friend softly ministered to my aching soul, “Our good works are done, not in our strength, but by the grace of God – led by the Holy Spirit, to God’s glory.”
