Finding God’s will –
Do you know what God’s will is for your life and how to find it? Would you like a simple breakdown of understanding and applying Scripture to your life? Also, do you find it difficult to know how to follow God’s will in your everyday life? Follow God’s Will is sprinkled with personal stories, testimonies from Christian women, encouragement, and in-depth Bible Study. Further, Follow God’s Will gives practical, biblical advice for daily real-life issues and daily decisions.
When I began reading Follow God’s Will: Biblical Guidelines for Everyday Life, my first reaction was that this book would change my life. And it certainly has added to it. Because Brittany Ann is just so good at explaining how to read Scripture, applying it to our lives, and hearing God in understandable terms and ways. In this book, Brittany helps us find the unique purpose that God created for each of us. By using practical advice, a fantastic dive into Bible Study, and encouraging personal stories to figure out this purpose.
Part book – part Bible study –
Follow God’s Will is part book, part Bible study, divided into Part 1: Discover God’s Will and Part 2: Follow God’s Will. Because before we can follow God’s will, we need to discover God’s Will. In part one, we learn what God asks of us, what Jesus wants us to do, how to understand the written Word and apply it to our lives, hearing God and where He is leading us, making a difference by serving, and how to make wise decisions. Part two focuses on following God’s will. We do this daily by cultivating Spiritual disciplines. Then the book explores day-to-day situations we find ourselves in – standing for what we believe with others, choosing wise friends and navigating relationships with non-Christians, sharing the gospel without being weird or pushy, confronting sin, and following God when life is hard.
Follow God’s Will taught me new techniques in Brittany’s seven-step process for understanding God’s Word. The practical steps are broken down into easy-follow instructions on interpreting a Bible passage through Bible Study. For those who read Scripture a lot, it is a great refresher. And for the new Scripture reader who finds Scripture hard to understand, this book is also for you.
In addition to the “Follow God’s Will” book, there is a full-length companion workbook. Full of thought-provoking questions, fill-in-the-blank exercises, helpful checklists, and beautiful printable worksheets.
If you are ready to see where God is leading you next, Follow God’s Will teaches you how to hear God’s voice, understand His Word, and uncover His will. I love Brittany’s step-by-step framework and encouragement in determining God’s purpose for our lives; I think you will too. Much to ponder and gleam here. Enjoy!
