#fiveminutefriday
This is from the community of #Fiveminutefriday: keyword “easy”. This is a prayer poem for comfort in times of unease where we can run into our Father’s arms for His love is easy. #Fiveminutefriday

Dearest Heavenly Father,
Please help me to understand the times that are not so easy.
Forgive me if I fall into sudden worry when challenges arise.
My ease of day turns quickly to frustration if I am not careful.
I know that you are in control of all and abound in loving kindness.
I trust only You through the valley to the mountain and beyond.
Thank you for walking and holding me – in your arms.
Today is the most glorious day for you are with me, Father.
Glory, glory, oh glory – I shout with praise and worship –
Oh, yes, rejoice, for your love is easy and makes all things easy.
Thank you for your lovingkindness and peace, which I so need.

Cancer is notorious
for what one endures,
but still this day is glorious,
my Lord, for I am Yours,
and cannot be separated
from the Love You give,
a love that has been consecrated
by this life We live,
for yes, dear God, I know the truth
that We walk side by each,
and each day is living proof
of Your gentle reach
that guides me down Your joyous ways
even on the hardest days.
Thank you for sharing. So thankful we have Jesus to walk with us even on the hardest days.
Beautiful words
Thank you for reading and your kind words. Blessings to you!
I am often surprised (and so disappointed with myself) at just how quickly “my day can turn”! I, too, need often repent and walk hand in hand with Him. Trusting, relaxing and enjoying His goodness and care!
Hi Jennifer – yes trusting, relaxing and enjoying His goodness and care!
I’m so thankful He gives us a reason to shout with praise and worship, Deborah.
Absolutely Lisa – I am too. Have a blessed day!
Lovely poem, Deborah. I love this line particularly: I trust only You through the valley to the mountain and beyond. So gotta keep choosing to trust Him through this valley. Thanks for sharing. Your FMF neighbour at #3 this week.
