I love This Country!
Balmy evening nights with flashes and sounds of fireworks. Thunder in the background. Happy 4th of July and I love this country!
O say can you see, by the dawn’s early light…

As the week proceeds to the 4th, the temperature rises, asphalt mists, and the humidity steamy.
So, celebrate! Give thanks to God for our beautiful and amazing home. Do a little dance and sing, “This land is your land!” Above all, say a prayer asking God to protect us, to give us strength, preservation, and healing.

Let us stand together for the love of God, country, and family. Let a touch of gentleness spark a revival across America the beautiful, spreading throughout the world.
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there…
We are all brothers and sisters here in the land of the free and our most gracious Creator has given us this land.

Oh, beautiful for spacious skies, for amber waves of grain, for purple mountain majesties above the fruited plain! America! America! God shed his grace on thee. And crown thy good with brotherhood from sea to shining sea.
God touched the hearts of our founding fathers:
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” (Preamble to the Declaration of Independence)
Therefore, let us rejoice. Let us love our brothers and sisters and bring goodness, love, and family to the table.
So, I celebrate the birth of American Independence with gratitude. That brings sweet memories of the past 4ths to mind. I remember as a child my favorite was lighting a sparkler. I don’t often light them but I did last summer! And it was fun. Throughout my life, I have spent the 4th sometimes in the causal family get-togethers or in larger gatherings of new friends. From parades, barbeques, and neighborhood block parties to Venice beach lights over the ocean to the plains of Tennessee, to picturesque rivers. But what always stands out is the awe that we are celebrating the birth of our country.
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave!
America is a blessed and wonderful country. Certainly, let us defend and love her! Happy 4th of July to the United States of America!
