Like a lost sheep – If you are lost and alone turn to Jesus, who will shepherd you home. He will comfort you and protect you. #write28days

If you are lost, alone, and tired of being in the dark, turn to Jesus, who will shepherd you home. He will comfort you and protect you.

Dear Jesus, thank you for carrying this lost little sheep
For picking up and bringing me into your flock
I was so frightened till you found me, my Savior

The joy on Your face when I answered Your call
When I knew You were my shepherd
Oh, guide this little one so that I do not stray
So that I do not cause fights with the other sheep
How peaceful my world is with you

Without You, I was lost in the dark
Beasts of all sorts near trying to devour me
Cold, crying and shaking
But then I saw the light, heard a voice
And as I answered back, you stepped in
and lifted me up,
holding me in your arms

Oh, how sweet it is to know You
Now I am content, safe,
and warm with my belly full

You brought in another lost sheep,
and it was so joyful
To have another sheep in the flock
Oh, glorious Lord, thankyou
For watching over all your little ones
For taking care of us
And bringing us home

Jesus, you are the Good Shepherd
The door through which we enter
safe from fears and problems
Thank you for saving us
and giving us pasture

Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them.I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. John 10:7-10 NKJV
