Messengers of God –
I am so excited! For I prayed for a guest posting opportunity and then you know what – one arrived. Now, that’s our God! So, with good news, I present my first guest post, “Messengers of God” at Mandyandmichelle.com. As I am leaning on God, and so thankful that I am in His hands, I was super excited yet full of anticipation with these key verses:
14As for me, here I am, in your hand; do with me as seems good and proper to you. 15 But know for certain that if you put me to death, you will surely bring innocent blood on yourselves, on this city, and on its inhabitants; for truly the Lord has sent me to you to speak all these words in your hearing. Jeremiah 26:14-15NKJV
Then, I felt God speak to my heart, saying this passage is for you. Therefore, study it as I need you to know that you are in my hands and that you are my messenger.
As Christian disciples, we are to spread the gospel’s good news. What I learn through Jeremiah 26:14-15 is that by putting our lives into God’s hands, we can be successful messengers of God.
Are we faithful?
“Do we faithfully submit when God gives an assignment or a call to action? Or do we tend to take the easy way? Then perhaps we convince ourselves that we misheard God when He presents a challenging task. I once tried to assure myself that I didn’t clearly hear one of God’s prompts only to get a bigger prompt which thankfully I did not ignore. The consequences would have been to miss a blessing and God’s best for my life.”

I’m thankful He leads, affirms and reassures us as we wait upon Him and listen for His voice, Deborah. And I’m thankful He causes us to experience “a blessing and God’s best for my life.”
Lisa – thank you for stopping by. Yes I am so grateful too for God’s Voice, blessing, and best in my life!
Thank you for this. While being a messenger in God’s hands can be rewarding and humbling, I’ve learned it’s rarely convenient.
Heading over to read the rest of the post right away!
Debby thank you for stopping by. Yes and that is where we need God’s strength.
