Our Hope: An Advent Poetry Reflection

Draw close to God this Advent season with “Our Hope: An Advent Poetry Reflection.” For the light has come and the glory of the Lord is here!

“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.” Isaiah 60:1 KJV

Awaken to His wonder,
your hearts stirring
to His majesty!

Draw near to God,
and light a candle of Hope.

As we wait in the sacred
inbetween
of the first Advent (our Savior’s birth),
and the second Advent,
when He comes again.

This Advent
let Jesus mesmerize you,
His wonder encompass you.

He is our hope
who has lit our dark
and weary world.
