Are you weary, brokenhearted, and crushed? Oh, tired one rest by turning to Jesus who will carry your burdens.
28 Days of Prayer-Poems for Faith, Spiritual Growth & Life
Today is my twenty-eighth post for the #write28days challenge, which I will write throughout this February. Each post is from an assigned keyword, and today’s word is “tired” Enjoy my new prayer poem, “Tired One Rest.”

Tired One Rest
Oh, tired ones
cast our burden
upon the Holy Father
for He cares for us.
Prayers deliver
supernatural strength
that lifts and guides.
Know that God
gives all we need
Call upon Him.
Jesus carries our burden
holding fast when we
can no longer go on.
Oh, rescue these crushed spirits
delivering the brokenhearted.
As Jesus carries, we rest.
Never leaving or forsaking
from birth till last breath
throughout life
He is the one
we obey and lean on
for we are His beloved.
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:28 KJV
The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
Psalm 34:18 KJV
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
1 Peter 5:7 KJV
