I will not deny my love for you. For Jesus, my Savior who died on the Cross for my sins, our sins – I will not deny the love I have for you. We need you in all we do. Join me in writing from the community of #Fiveminutefriday: keyword “deny”.

I will not deny –
Oh, dear Father, I will not deny. Deny my love for you.
For Jesus, my Savior who died on the Cross for my sins, our sins – I will not deny the love I have for You. Oh, I will not deny that it is hard for me to love as You do.
I wanted to bite, strive to compete, and break at work this week.
Then I collapsed in repentance, for I can be wicked. But You are so kind to take me and heal me. Oh, I will not deny this.
Teach me how to love as you do. And then I said this prayer, and it came forth; I loved as you did. When I saw each person as made in your image – wow – You give us all we need to make it through this world. If only we will stop and not deny that we need you in all we do.
So on this wonderous Holy Week, this Good Friday, this Resurrection Sunday, and as I visit with friends at Passover and Good Friday for we are all Yours and let us remember, do not deny but to love.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16 KJV

Beautiful! So often I fall short, but God’s grace is bigger than my sins and my shortcomings. Without that truth, I would be a mess.
